Ken Woolfenden
Regional Manager
Ken Woolfenden joined the JD Steel Company in 2016 as our Regional Manager in the South Region. Ken brings over forty years of experience in rebar and post-tensioning construction. For over twenty years, Ken was a rebar contractor in the highly competitive and demanding Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC markets. Ken learned early on how to work the customer to ensure that the team has a positive and winning experience on each project. He is a firm believer that for a project to be successful it must be a win, win for JD Steel and our customer.

Ken’s management style is to lead by example. He never asks his team to do anything he’s not willing to do himself. He sees a large part of his job as removing road blocks that can impede his team and the project from being successful. This is accomplished through pre-planning with the contractor’s project team, working with the rebar detailer to prevent constructability issues and delays, and putting together the best JD team for the project. He believes intentional and detailed project management differentiates JD Steel from most other placing companies out there. Ken’s ultimate goal is that our customers have a positive, successful and profitable experience working with us and that we play an important role in making their project a success.

Cindy Harding
Project Administrator and Office Manager

Cindy joined the JD Steel Front Range office in 2015 as the Regional Office Manager. She brings over two decades of business management experience along with extensive knowledge of Human Resources, business organization and project/program management. Since joining the company, Cindy has transitioned into the Project Administrator role as well. In this position, Cindy manages job specific administrative needs including insurance, bonding, labor coordination, vendor relations, change orders and client relations. In 2016, Cindy also took over the same duties for the newly established South Region in Nashville, Tennessee. She believes that clear communication and common goals lead to a successful, safe and profitable project for not only JD Steel, but our clients as well.
